Under what circumstances does a woman come to you for help with dating in midlife?
Women seek out my services when they’ve been dating for a while post-divorce or loss of a spouse, and can’t seem to find someone special on their own. I also have clients who have been single for years and have not been on a single date. They assumed their friends would fix them up or they’d meet someone organically, but that almost never happens.
You have published a book, Life After Law: Finding Work You Love with the J.D. You Have. Tell us more about the problem you are trying to solve.
How did you become an expert on menopause and an advocate for women’s wellness?
When I entered perimenopause, I acted like the Wicked Witch of the West, slept like an insomniac, couldn’t find my way through a case of never-clearing brain fog, and sadly waved goodbye as my estrogen and vagina packed up and moved to the desert—and I’m not talking about Las Vegas!
